Gutter is....moving...
I decided to move my site from WordPress over to SquareSpace. While I liked WP, it was just a little too much maintenance. Also, I wanted something a little easier to edit and customize. Hopefully, this will get me to post a little more.
Wanted to type
Do you ever just feel like writing? Sometimes just the feel of the keys depressing under quickly moving fingers can be therapeutic. I really have nothing to say, I just feel like typing. I used to keep some journals on and off back in high school. I used to really enjoy just putting my thoughts down on paper. I wonder what happened to those. They would probably be a bit embarrassing to read these days. The problems my younger self had would probably be laughable to me now. It comes down to that old saying "If I knew back then what I know now...." Man that would have been dangerous. I probably would have gotten myself in trouble. As I post about once every couple of months, I'll probably start writing on here a little more. I like the idea of an on going "feature" on here called "Confessions of a CSR." Hopefully the writing bug hits me a little more often. I could use the practice, and it's a nice release.
Stormtroopers' 9/11
Not sure it ever won't be "too soon," but this is pretty entertaining. Sometimes College Humor is still pretty funny.

Changes: they are a comin'!

Here in the next few days GutterIsATool.com will be undergoing an overhaul. First and foremost, I will be retiring the rooster theme as soon as I find one that is free and I like enough. I also plan to change how I use this site. It will no longer be simply a daily dump for my Twitter posts (these will be dumped into a single weekly post from now on). I also plan on making the blog a little more personal. This will allow me to practice my writing as I would like to do some professional writing at some point in my life. Ultimately, this will still be Chilli's lame-ass website. Please, when you see me, bug me about updating.
Fletcher hates hoodies
I came in wearing my hoodie the other night and Fletcher started growling a bit, so naturally, I went to my room, grabbed my Flip camera, put my hood up and came back. This video was the result.

The Hangover
I hadn't heard of this movie until now. The trailer had some laugh out loud moments, but the end made me nearly fall out of my chair.

Billy, cheesier than Rick?
Some times on VH1 Classic, I catch some real gems. This video for "Rock Me Tonite" was so bad, I had to watch the whole thing to see who it was: Billy Squier. I know a couple of Billy Squier's other hits (The Stroke, Everybody Wants You), but I never knew he was this cheesy.

Best thing I've seen all day
This guy does a bunch of Saturday morning style cartoons. I'll have to post his version of The Watchmen later.

Part 1: OS X on a Dell Mini 9

I'm about to sit down for my evening project of putting Apple OS X on the Dell Mini 9 I bought a couple days ago. Gizmodo has an excellent guide, so I'm going to try to follow it. I'll Also be looking to the MyDellMini forums for help. Hopefully at the end of this I'll have my very own OS X netbook. Wish me luck.
Nerded Out
Found this on Chris Hardwick's blog Nerdist. He's the guy who used to host the game show in the mid to late 90s Singled Out. Now, he works for Attack of the Show on G4. I just thought the throwback spoof was kind of funny. Favorite line: "I'm looking for someone who would rather explore me instead of Azeroth."

One final skit from The State
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
